A world-class corporation, in the camera and CCD imaging systems engineering and manufacturing business, located in Green Valley, AZ needs, IMMEDIATELY an Applications Specialist. This Application Specialist's education and background will include the following: - MS degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or similar Life Science discipline; - Min. of three years of laboratory experience, working with imaging science techniques; - Eperience with life science imaging instrumentation; - Experience with managing the demo inventory; - Experience in working closely with product marketing, R&D, sales and customers to identify, evaluate and develop new applications for all Company products; - Experience with assisting in defining the requirements for the technology / product roadmap, to accommodate the end users' requirements; - Experience in writing technical notes, white papers and applications to inform users of the products' features and capabilities; - Experience in designing and conducting experiments with collaborating laboratories to test and optimize products for current and new applications; - Experience in developing business recommendations to contribute to successful market penetrations; - Experience in preparing the required equipment and supplies for the field demo team; - Experience in preparing technical data to address customer needs in cell biology, drug discovery and other areas, to support marketing and business development programs; - Experience in tracking, evaluateing and developing application opportunities arising from customer demos.
