Client Support Network Operations EngineerTracking Code101807Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIES:* Provide multi-level network operations troubleshooting and technical support to Tier 2 Client Support staff.* Work closely with Tier 2 Client Support staff as well as act as interface between Tier 2 and product development/third party vendors.* Work closely with Product Development and implementation teams to resolve client issues* Perform fault reproduction and troubleshooting, system characterization and analysis, root cause analysis of product issues, and bug tracking and resolution* Draft, review, and issue product bugs/fixes into the Knowledge Base Open Case(s) using client ticket tracking system.* Represent Client Support department in various product meetings or reviews, with both internal product management teams as well as external clients* Manage technical contributions of other engineers assigned to the project and provide cross-training to other client support engineers Required ExperienceREQUIRED SKILLS:* Proficient with multiple computer operating systems - UNIX/Linux and Windows* Proficient at advanced troubleshooting of network connectivity issues.* Proficient at utilizing tools to troubleshoot LAN/WAN latency, bandwidth utilization, and server disk usage issues.* 3 years solid experience and understanding of Windows 2003 Operating Systems.* Must have a strong understanding of monitoring and capacity planning tools.* Experience designing, configuring and supporting production network systems.* Successful completion of courses covering or have work experience with the following:* Sun and Microsoft Server administration* Firewall Configuration and Administration* Cisco Routers (CCNA required)* Cisco Switches* F5 & Cisco Load Balancers* Wireless Technologies* SNA/Token Ring* Knowledge, exposure, and/or experience through academic or professional work in the following:* Network Design and Architecture* Software Engineering Principles* Network Security Principles* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams* Exceptional listening, written and verbal skills * Hold a B.S. in Computer Science or related area of study and be eligible to work in the U.S.DESIRED SKILLS:* Completed CCNA and/or SCNA and/or MCSA Certified Professional certifications.* Experience working in a transaction based system environment.* Experience working in a card reader device based environment.* Familiarity with maintaining Databases in a Windows application environment.* Basic knowledge of application development technologies.Job LocationPhoenix, AZ, US.Position TypeFull-Time/Regular
