| Combination Technician AZ Open (J#47385) Title: Combination Technician Company: Frontier Communications Job Description Job Duties: - Ability to perform Installation, Repair and Troubleshooting of Telephone and High Speed Internet service to residential and business customers according to Company standards and guidelines. - Utilizes appropriate test equipment to test for and locate cable pair trouble, broadband trouble and perform diagnostic analysis. - Work from cable schematics, engineering drawings, and Plant In Place Records. - Perform cable locating as needed. - Perform basic copper splicing and basic copper cable maintenance. Working knowledge of cable and cable terminals. - Install and maintain central office and cross connect jumpers to provide residential/business services, including ADSL. - Install and maintain inside wire for residential/business service. - Working knowledge and maintenance of appropriate hand tools, test equipment and safety equipment. - Maintain the efficient operation, appearance and records of assigned vehicle and equipment. - Follow established safety practices and procedures as written in the company-provided Environmental, Health and Safety Manual. - Must attend and pass training schools as assigned by the company and must have a willingness and ability to share that knowledge with other team members. - Customer satisfaction focused. Must support and participate in sales of Company products and services. Ensure excellent customer service is consistently provided to all customers, both internal and external. - Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, be able to work with limited supervision and be able to work in a high performance, team environment. - Must be quality and goal oriented and strive to achieve set goals. - Must be adaptable to change. - Demonstrated abilities to learn and keep pace with changing technologies. - Interact with other departments to coordinate and complete job assignments and attain Company service objectives. - Maintain a professional image. - Actively support direct sales and participate in the Take the Lead program or similar sales incentive plans.
